Taylor Swift Breaks Spotify & YouTube Records with “Look What You Made Me Do”

Look What You Made Me Do,” is the lead single from Taylor Swift’s forthcoming sixth full length studio album, Reputation, is breaking records on streaming music sites including Spotify and breaking records on YouTube, the Washington Post reports. Swift’s new song is also a very popular paid digital download, and is on track to be the best-selling single since Adele’s “Hello” in 2015, according to Billboard. Spotify said Saturday (Aug. 26th) Swift’s song “Look What You Made Me Do” had more than 8 million same-day streams breaking records.  Swift’s single has been downloaded (legally) more than 184,000 times, and is No. 1 on iTunes, Variety reported this past Saturday. Swift’s lyric video for the single has also broken a major record on YouTube. The clip reaching more than 19 million views in under 24 hours, breaking the record for the most views on a lyric video on the website. As of Sunday morning, it has been viewed more than 34 million times.
