Troy Gentry, of the country duo Montgomery Gentry, has died following a tragic helicopter crash in Medford, New Jersey, according to a statement posted on the group’s official site and socials. Gentry was 50. The crash took place slightly before 1 p.m. ET in Medford, NJ, according to the statement. The helicopter’s pilot also was killed, authorities have said.
