Warning : Potential Spoilers Ahead.
Counsel of Wells made their debut in tonight’s episode “When Harry Met Harry” of The Flash. This team consists of the brightest Harrison Wells from across the multiverse, who had a brainstorming session to decode the identity of Devoe.
The funniest part of the episode is the Ralph Dibny’s first mission, as he fumbles and trembles in his superhero costume. We also get to see a new meta, Black Bison, a Native American woman by the real name of Mina Chayton (Chelsea Kurtz). Black Bison, essentially a marginalized woman trying to reclaim her people’s history, uses killing as a means to end, and Team Flash can’t have that. Even though it is easy to feel for the character and almost want to root for her.
So far the writers of this season came up with extraordinary comic sequences, as they prove themselves once again by dealing with multiple variations of one character with perfection. The three Harrys deliver a knock out performance especially the Mad Max one. Even the robbery sequence turned out to be a hilarious one.
Liked :
1. Tom Cavanagh and his three roles
2. Ralph Dibny
3. The robber who reprises his role from season 1
4. Hypnosis sequence
Disliked :
1. Cringe-worthy direction
2. A few of the jokes fell flat
Apart from the troubled direction, the sixth episode stands out on its own due to the excellent writing and acting. The episode ends on a serious note for the first time in season 4 as Barry and Joe came face to face with Thinker and his assistant. Now I am looking forward to the next move from Thinker which will lead to the ultimate crossover.
Cast:
Regular – Grant Gustin, Candice Patton, Carlos Valdes, Hartley Sawyer, Danielle Panabaker, Jesse L. Martin, and Tom Cavanagh.
