Warner Bros. has released the first poster for the upcoming adaptation of DC’s ‘Aquaman‘. Although we saw some new images from the film last week, this striking new poster comes in anticipation of the film’s San Diego Comic-Con 2018 panel. Along with the new poster comes the confirmation that the first trailer for the film will also debut at the aforementioned panel. Here’s the first poster for ‘Aquaman‘ (via Twitter):

As someone who hasn’t been too keen on most of the DCEU films, I have to say that ‘Aquaman ‘looks to be extremely promising based on this poster. Director James Wan is the perfect choice for bringing Atlantis to life, and it seems that Wan is keen on lightening the tone up a bit. Indeed, this poster is super effective, but it also proves to be a good tease of the story with Jason Momoa‘s Arthur Curry returning home to a divided seven kingdoms. Wan also shared a tease of the upcoming trailer (also via Twitter):

Based on these two images, ‘Aquaman’ is turning out to be one of my most anticipated reveals at SDCC 2018. Make sure to tune back in as more is revealed, but in the meantime, you can find the film’s official synopsis below:
