Official Trailer For ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ Will Rock You

Queen has been one of the biggest bands in rock and roll. The band has sold over 200 million records and that’s in large part because of the astronomical guitar riffs from Brian May and the angelic voice of Freddie Mercury. Sadly, the life of Queen was cut short when Mercury passed away from aids in 1991. The singer’s life is finally coming to the big screen from director Bryan Singer with Rami Malek taking center stage as Freddie Mercury. 20th Century Fox have released an official trailer for Bohemian Rhapsody which you can view below.

Aside from the at times over exaggerated Freddie Mercury overbite, Rami Malek seems to be doing a pretty damn good job at pulling off the late legendary rocker. Of course, this is just a trailer so we will have to wait and see if Singer and Malek can successfully execute a memorable film. Being a huge Queen fan myself, I’m all in on this and I hope the film does the legacy of Mercury and Queen some justice.

Bohemian Rhapsody is a foot-stomping celebration of Queen, their music and their extraordinary lead singer Freddie Mercury. Freddie defied stereotypes and shattered convention to become one of the most beloved entertainers on the planet. The film traces the meteoric rise of the band through their iconic songs and revolutionary sound. They reach unparalleled success, but in an unexpected turn Freddie, surrounded by darker influences, shuns Queen in pursuit of his solo career. Having suffered greatly without the collaboration of Queen, Freddie manages to reunite with his bandmates just in time for Live Aid. While bravely facing a recent AIDS diagnosis, Freddie leads the band in one of the greatest performances in the history of rock music. Queen cements a legacy that continues to inspire outsiders, dreamers and music lovers to this day.

Bohemian Rhapsody hits theaters November 2 and stars Rami MalekLucy Boynton, Gwilym Lee, Ben Hardy, Joseph Mazzello, Aidan Gillen, Tom Hollander, Allen Leech and Mike Myers.
