Dr. Suess’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical Arrives In Philly For The Holiday Season!

(PCM) If you were hanging around Philadelphia at any time over the course of the Thanksgiving holiday, you most certainly could have had a run in with Dr. Suess’ famous character The Grinch! Mr. Grinch was all over the place on Black Friday, stopping by the Philadelphia Flyers game to have a meet-up with mascot Gritty on the ice, visiting ice skaters at the Blue Cross RiverRink and finally switching on the lights at the Electrical Spectacle over at Franklin Square Park.

The Grinch even made an appearance in the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day parade!

You may be curious as to just what The Grinch is doing all around the city!  Well, he is in town to advance the upcoming Philadelphia premiere of “Dr. Suess’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical” which is coming to the Merriam Theater on December 19 – 29 on the Kimmel Center Cultural Campus.

The classic holiday musical, inspired by Dr. Seuss’ original book, features the hit songs “You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch” and “Welcome Christmas.” Max the Dog narrates the stage musical as the mean and scheming Grinch, whose heart is “two sizes too small” decides to steal Christmas away from the holiday-loving Whos.
