Harley Quinn, herself, actress Margot Robbie posted an Instagram selfie of herself in her costume for the upcoming film, “Birds Of Prey ( And The Fantabulous Emancipation Of One Harley Quinn)” giving us our first look at the highly anticipated film.
The film will be a spin-off from “Suicide Squad” and feature the Joker’s number one accomplice and is said to take place after their break-up.
HQShe is definitely looking the part with her large gold chain, over-the-top make-up (complete with hand-drawn heart) and scant attire and Robbie teased with simple text on the post which read, “Miss Me?” with a lips emoji.
Right after Robbie posted the image, a twenty-second teaser trailer for the film, which will be released in February of 2020 was released. Check it out below:
The film, directed by Cathy Yan stars Margot Robbie, of course, but also Rosie Perez, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jurnee Smollet-Bell and Ewan McGregor.
In addition, rumor has it a trilogy on Harley Quinn’s universe is in the pipes. Considering that Birds of Prey is the first episode, the mysterious Gotham City Sirens which is still in development could be the second. The third and last episode could be named Birds of Prey v. Gotham City Sirens
