Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark Teaser Trailers Premiere During Super Bowl LIII

Last night’s Superbowl will go down as one of the most uneventful events of the year. The game just did seem to match the excitement that fans were anticipating and will go down as one lowest scoring games in the Superbowl’s history. But leave it to Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark to save the day.

Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark the popular book series that came out in the 80s is finally making its way to the big screen. The film was produced by Guillermo del Torro, Sean Daniel, Jason F. Brown, J. Miles Dale, and Elizabeth Grave.

Scary Stories Synopsis: It’s l968 in America. Change is blowing in the wind…but seemingly far removed from the unrest in the cities is the small town of Mill Valley where for generations, the shadow of the Bellows family has loomed large.  It is in their mansion on the edge of town that Sarah, a young girl with horrible secrets, turned her tortured life into a series of scary stories, written in a book that has transcended time—stories that have a way of becoming all too real for a group of teenagers who discover Sarah’s terrifying book.

The film will star Zoe Colletti, Michael Garza, Gabriel Rush, Austin Abrams, Dean Norris, Gil Bellows, Lorraine Toussaint, Austin Zajur, Natalie Ganzhorn. The film will hit theaters August 9th.
