Super Bowl LIII’s Pepsi Halftime performance was an unforgettable one this year, with Maroon 5 headlining the show featuring special guests Travis Scott, Big Boi and Spongebob Squarepants, Squidward Tentacles and friends as petitioned for. Although, we feel Spongebob did not get the cameo he deserved at this year’s Super Bowl Pepsi half time show, we are excited that he at-least did get some recognition on the internationally televised broadcast.
Fans demanded the Spongebob cameo performance by Spongebob Squarepants at this year’s Super Bowl LIII, and after 1.2 million signed the change.org petition for the performance to happen, it finally did. The petition began late last year, following the death of SpongeBob’s creator Stephen Hillenburg. Did you think Spongebob got the “Sweet Victory” he deserved? We do not but we are excited that they atleast did include him within the broadcast of the Pepsi Super Bowl LIII halftime performance some how after that massive petition flooded the internet in support of the late, great creator of Spongebob, Stephen Hillenburg.
