Desperate Housewives alum Felicity Huffman released a statement to the media regarding her part in the college exam, that led to her arrest. She allegedly paid $15,000 dollars to have her daughter Sofia’s SAT scores changed to help her get into a top college.
According to Us Weekly, the actress entered a guilty plea for her actions and claimed that her daughter had no knowledge of her actions. She also released the following statement to the media:
“I am in full acceptance of my guilt, and with deep regret and shame over what I am done, I accept full responsibility for my actions and will accept the consequences that stem from those actions,” the statement read. “I am ashamed of the pain I have caused my daughter, my family, my friends, my colleagues and the educational community.”
