The actress and her fashion designer husband Mossimo Giannulli, face a minimum of two years in prison for their part in the college scam,TVGrapevine has learned. Acccording to. Us Weekly, this sentencing is part of a plea deal offered by prosecutors. The entertainment magazine also reported that the two have not agreed to a guilty plea.
As previously reported, the couple, who are parents to Bella Rose and Olivia Jade, allegedly “agreed to pay bribes totaling $500,000 in exchange for having their two daughters designated as recruits to the USC crew team — despite the fact that they did not participate in crew — thereby facilitating their admission to USC.” The two were arrested last month, along with several other parents, including actress Felicity Huffman.
