It’s Now Official! Robert Pattinson Will Be Our New Batman

Over the last few weeks, there has been a ton speculation as to whether or not we would see Twilight actor Robert Pattinson taking on the role of Batman. The news was a but confirmed until we learned that both Pattinson and actor Nicholas Hoult both went into the studio for yet another audition before the final decision was made about who would eventually be portraying the caped crusader.

It is now completely certain that actor Robert Pattinson will be the next Batman, as he has been officially chosen by Warner Bros. and will be replacing Ben Affleck once the contract has been signed. The upcoming reboot is scheduled for release on June 25, 2021, and will be directed by Matt Reeves.

The new prince of Gotham will play a younger Batman than Ben Affleck and Christian Bale. Matt Reeves recently said that the plot of The Batman wouldn’t be based on the iconic graphic novel “Year One”, confirming rumors that it wouldn’t be an “origin story”.

Also hired for Christopher Nolan’s latest movie, Pattinson who once was a teenage heartthrob in Twilight, before demonstrating his talents in Good Time, High Life and The Lost City of Z, is finally earning his well-deserved time in the spotlight.
