David Chase And Michael Imperioli Are Working On A Secret Movie Script

Michael Imperioli is back on HBO. Imperioli stars in season 2 of White Lotus as Dominic Di Grasso a sex addict on vacation in Italy trying to make amends with his family. Catch new episodes of White Lotus every Sunday night on HBO Max.

Michael has been super busy as he revealed on Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show that he is working on a movie script with Sopranos creator David Chase. Michael and Chase both worked together for years on the hit HBO series The Sopranos. The show revolves around Jersey based Italian mobster Tony Soprano portrayed brilliantly by James Gandolfini as he tries to balance family life and life in the mafia.

Imperioli portrayed Christopher Moltisanti a drug addicted mobster who is also cousins with Tony Soprano. Imperioli told Jimmy Fallon that the script is a secret and will also involve another Sopranos alumni, Steve Schirripa who starred as Bobby Baccalierialso co-hosts a Sopranos podcast with Imperioli. Of course, it’s always possible that these three Sopranos alums are reuniting for something that isn’t related to the HBO crime drama.

We can only speculate for now, but the Sopranos Universe could use a fresh coat of paint after the lack luster reviews of The Many Saints of Newark. (Even though I loved the film). So go bake some Ziti, and hopefully we hear some news in the near future.
