Ghost are returning to the U.S. summer. The Re-Imperatour begins on August 2 at the Concord Pavilion in Concord, California and wraps up on September 11 at the KIA Forum in Los Angeles, California. The tour will see both Swedish bands perform in Denver, Chicago, Nashville, Tampa, Austin, Phoenix, and more.

“A message from the Clergy – We wish to inform you that Ghost will be returning to haunt U.S. soil with The Re-Imperatour with special guests Amon Amarth,” Ghost stated.

“Heathens! We are pleased to announce Amon Amarth are joining fellow Swedes Ghost for another raid this summer across the US this August,” the band said in a statement. “Sharpen your axes and fasten your shields as we blaze across America sacking your cities and converting the survivors to join the Great Heathen Army! See you at the shows!

Tickets will be available starting with a Citi cardmember presale (details below) and Artist presale on Tuesday, February 14. Additional pre-sales will be available throughout the week before the general on sale starting Friday, February 17 at 10 am local time on Ticketmaster.com.

Ghost’s fifth album Impera arrived last March via Loma Vista Recordings. The record debuted at No. 1 in a sweep of the U.S. album charts, entering the Billboard 200 at No. 2 with first week sales of nearly 70,000. Internationally, Impera bowed at #1 in the band’s native Sweden as well as Germany and Finland, while peaking at No. 2 in the UK, Netherlands, and Belgium, No. 3 in Canada, Australia, and France, and No. 5 in Ireland. The album was produced by Klas Åhlund and mixed by Andy Wallace and features the No. 1 Billboard Rock charting “Call Me Little Sunshine,” and Active Rock #1 radio single “Hunter’s Moon.”

Amon Amarth wrapped up their Great Heathen Tour back in December. Their latest album – The Great Heathen Army – arrived last August via Metal Blade. The album hit No. 1 on the German Albums chart, and No. 2 on the UK Rock & Metal Albums chart.
