(PCM) For many years it has been speculated with pop superstar Justin Timberlake was the artist behind the infamous and delightfully catchy McDonald’s advertising jingle “I’m Lovin’ It”, after all he is the one who sings that delicious ear worm. How can you hear “bada-ba-ba-ba, I’m lovin’ it” and not start craving a juicy hamburger and fries?
We were completely surprised to learn that none other than rapper Pusha T is the true musical genius and creator of the famous McDonald’s jingle. Talk about versatility as a musician! Pusha T frequently collaborates with rapper Kanye West and majority of his rhymes are shall we say … not so family friendly!
The “I’m Lovin’ It” jingle made it’s premiere back in 2004 and the international version of the McDonald’s ad campaign even features Pusha T rapping in the song. Check it out:
After the news broke about him creating the jingle, Pusha T tweeted the following, confirming that he is indeed the creator:
