The 1975 have added a select number of shows to their 2023 North American tour. Due to overwhelming demand, new shows have been confirmed in Fort Worth, Texas, Chicago, Illinois, and Newark, New Jersey. Ticket pre-sale starts on Wednesday, August 16 at 10am local time. Fans can register for the ticket pre-sale at The1975.com/Tour. The previously announced trek begins on September 26 at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento and wraps up on December 2 at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle. The run will include stops in Los Angeles, Denver, New Orleans, Nashville, Philadelphia, Boston, New York, Toronto, and more.
Tickets for all other shows are on sale now.
The band recently announced a reissue commemorating the tenth anniversary of their debut album. The record will be released on double white vinyl, double CD, cassette, and deluxe 4-LP black vinyl. Along with the album, the band has curated a special merchandise line surrounding the record that features t-shirts, a hoodie, a sweatshirt, a necklace, earrings, and a vinyl slipmat cover. The 1975’s self-titled debut arrived on September 2, 2013 via Dirty Hit/Polydor. Produced by Mike Crossey (Arctic Monkeys, twenty one pilots, Walk the Moon), the album hit No. 1 in the UK. The band’s latest album being funny in a foreign language arrived last October via DirtyHit. It topped the UK Albums Chart, and peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 and No. 2 on Billboard’s Top Rock and Top Alternative Album charts. The record it is available on CD, vinyl, and cassette.
