The Pink Floyd icon’s new album arrives in September
After nearly a decade away, David Gilmour has confirmed his first U.S. concerts since 2016. The Pink Floyd icon has confirmed fall shows in New York and Los Angeles in support of his forthcoming album, Luck and Strange, which arrives on September 6. Gilmore is set to play the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, California on October 29 and October 30. From their, he’ll head across the country to headline the legendary Madison Square Garden in New York City on November 4 and November 5.
Various ticket pre-sales begin on Wednesday, May 15 at 10am local time, while general tickets go on sale Friday, May 17 at 10am.
Before he comes back stateside, Gilmour has locked in residencies in Rome, Italy at Circa Massimo in September and London, United Kingdom at Royal Albert Hall in October.
Gilmour released his last album Rattle the Lock in 2015. The album hit No. 5 on the Billboard 200, and No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Rock Albums chart. It debuted at No. 1 on the UK Albums chart, and also took the top spot in several other countries around the globe.
