ShipRocked celebrated its 15th sailing January 19-25 onboard Carnival Magic, sailing from Miami, with stops at St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands and Half Moon Cay in The Bahamas. The annual rock music cruise vacation included performances, artist hosted events and more with Parkway Drive, Hollywood Undead, Nothing More, The Struts, The Stowaways all-star band and over two dozen others.
During the cruise, ShipRocked producers ASK4 Entertainment revealed the dates, ports and a new ship for the Greek mythology-themed 2026 edition. ShipRocked 2026 is set for January 25-31, 2026, sailing from Miami to The Bahamas on Carnival Horizon with stops in Half Moon Cay, Celebration Key–Carnival’s soon to be opened private cruise port on the island of Grand Bahama–and Nassau. While ShipRocked 2025 guests are already pre-registered for the 2026 sailing, look for information on the ShipRocked 2026 public pre-sale soon at www.ShipRocked.com.
Some of the highlights and special moments during ShipRocked 2025 included:
- Live debut of Nothing More’s song “Down The River” from their current album Carnal
- More than 17 years after his guest appearance on their song “Blow,” Josh Todd joined Atreyu on stage to perform the song live for the first time ever during the band’s theater show.
- Impromptu Piano Bar performances of classic hits from artists including Luke Spiller and Adam Slack of The Struts, Brandon Saller of Atreyu and more
- The Stowaways all-star band’s pair of deck performances not only fed ShipRockers a steady diet of familiar ’80s hits, but gave the all-star guest performers a chance to stretch their talents in sometimes unexpected ways: Jesse Leach ranged from Pat Benatar (“Love Is A Battlefield”) to Lemmy (“Ace Of Spades”); Eric Vanlerberghe tackled “Pour Some Sugar On Me” and “Head Like A Hole” in the same set; Joey Belladonna proved equally adept as David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar (on Van Halen’s “Jump” and “Dreams”); Keith Wallen fronted an epic rendition of Phil Collins’s “In The Air Tonight” among others.
- The Stowaways also welcomed guest vocalists and musicians from other bands performing on ShipRocked, including Ben Gordon (Parkway Drive), Diamante, Jonny Hawkins (Nothing More), Landon Milbourn (Goodbye June), Sonny Sandoval (P.O.D.) and Stevie D (Buckcherry), as well the members of Plush, Calva Louise and Jigsaw Youth.
- $110,000 was raised at the ShipRocked Cancer Sucks! Charity Auction hosted by Jesse Leach of Killswitch Engage.
- Hysterical game of Family Feud between Parkway Drive and Hollywood Undead that packed the ship’s theater and was talked about for days as one of the best events of the trip
- The Music Experience by AmericanMusical.com lounge featured instruments for guests and musicians to play at leisure, as well as guitar and drum competitions for guests, and a Q&A with Sophie Lloyd.
- ShipRocked has a different theme each year, and ShipRocked’s mascot “Skully” changed his wardrobe daily to fit 2025’s Retro Paradise ‘80s theme.
- ShipRockers closed out the week with a highly anticipated DJ set from Jesse Leach.
- Special appearances throughout the ship by “Beetlejuice”
- A waterfront pre-party in Miami with performances from The Word Alive, Butcher Babies, and Calva Louise.
