Daredevil: Born Again lands on television screens this week. The highly anticipated Marvel TV show, the sequel to Netflix’s live-action Daredevil series, will arrive on March 4 (US) and March 5 (UK and Australia). This will be the debut of Matt Murdock’s first standalone Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) adventure.
Charlie Cox will return to play Matt Murdock and his superpowered alter-ego, Daredevil. Where does Born Again pick up from? After the Netflix series’ season 3 finale, he’s become the co-owner of the law firm Murdock, Nelson, and Page, teaming up with long-time friend and fellow lawyer Franklin ‘Foggy’ Nelson and former reporter/Murdock’s perennial love interest Karen Page.
Vincent D’Onofrio will return as the infamous villain Kingpin. Kingpin will be running for New York City’s Mayoral office in Born Again. If Kingpin wins the race, it’ll spell lousy news for Murdock and his fellow crimefighters.
Many returning characters from the Netflix series will be in Born Again, including Frank, who will be played by actor Jon Bernthal. Bernthal previously played the vigilante Punisher in his own series on the streaming service.
