All Time Low’s concert at Merriweather Post Pavilion on August 24, 2024, was a high-energy celebration of the band’s 20-year career. The evening was a mix of nostalgia and fresh sounds, delighting long-time fans and newer listeners alike.
Opening the night were performances by LØLØ and Boys Like Girls, setting the stage with catchy pop-punk vibes that had the crowd ready for All Time Low. When the band took the stage at 8:20 PM, they immediately launched into a setlist that was a well-crafted journey through their discography. They played fan favorites like “Dear Maria, Count Me In” and “Weightless,” while also showcasing tracks from their latest album Tell Me I’m Alive. The setlist balanced older hits with newer material, highlighting their evolution as a band while still honoring their roots.
The band’s performance was electric, with Alex Gaskarth’s vocals hitting every note perfectly and Jack Barakat’s guitar riffs keeping the energy levels high. The crowd engagement was intense, especially during sing-alongs like “Kids in the Dark” and their cover of the Ramones’ “Blitzkrieg Bop,” which added a fun twist to the evening.
Merriweather Post Pavilion, with its iconic outdoor setting, proved to be the perfect venue for this milestone celebration. The atmosphere was both intimate and exhilarating, creating a memorable experience for the fans who packed the venue.
Overall, the concert was a triumphant reminder of why All Time Low has remained a staple in the pop-punk scene for two decades.
