Capaldi will portray the twelfth doctor on the hit BBC series which is currently filming its’ eighth series in Cardiff now. The new season of Doctor Who will see the return of fan favorite companion Clara Oswin Oswald (Jenna Coleman), as the Doctor overcomes a series of new ramifications left from the last two specials, such as the fact that Gallifrey is not destroyed, but is instead still a living planet trapped in a pocket universe out there somewhere.
