Goodbye World in Theaters April 4

Goodbye_World_11(PCM) Life as we know it no longer exists in the post-apocalyptic drama Goodbye World, opening in theaters on a limited run starting April 4.

Living off the grid, James and Lily raise their young daughter in a safe haven of comfort and sustainability.

After a mass text is delivered to the country, a crippling, apocalyptic cyber attack erupts and crosses the country. Lily and James’s home transitions from peaceful refuge to a fortress for the old friends seeking protection and community.

This unexpected community gathering is soon compromised by personal histories and exchanges as well as the threat of a locally grown new world.

There has been increasing popularity and interest surrounding the apocalypse in recent years with shows like Doomsday Preppers and movies like This is the End; Goodbye World continues in the trend but from a location removed from the epicenter of the apocalypse, instead focusing on humans and their actions in times of hardship.

Goodbye World stars Adrian Grenier (Entourage, The Devil Wears Prada), Gaby Hoffman (Field of Dreams, Girls), Ben McKenzie (The O.C., Southland), Mark Webber (Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, Snow Day), Kerry Bishe (Argo, Scrubs), Caroline Dhavernas (Hannibal, Devil), Scott Mescudi (Need for Speed), Remy Nozik (The Next Three Days), Linc Hand (42, The Bling Ring), and Laura Kachergus (King of California, Clash of the Titans).

Fun Fact: Adrian Grenier will be starring alongside Scott Mescudi, aka rapper/producer Kid Cudi, in the upcoming film adaption of Entourage, set to be released in June 12, 2015.

Goodbye World opens in theaters on a limited run and on demand starting April 4. Watch the trailer below and check out the official Facebook page here.
