(PCM) The first official trailer for producer Michael Bay’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was released yesterday!
While it doesn’t give viewers a clear idea of what the film’s plot is, it does give us a good idea of what to expect from the summer blockbuster, in theaters nationwide August 8.
The live action reboot of the childhood classic will give viewers a look into the radioactive origins of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and their Ninjitsu-fighting ways.
Starring in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are Megan Fox (Transformers, Jennifer’s Body), Will Arnett (The Lego Movie, Arrested Development), Alan Ritchson (Fired Up, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire), Noel Fisher (Battle Los Angeles, Final Destination 2), William Fitchner (The Dark Knight, The Lone Ranger), Whoopi Goldberg (Sister Act, The Muppets), Abby Elliot (No Strings Attached, Fun Size), Jeremy Howard (Galaxy Quest, Catch Me If You Can), Danny Woodburn (Mirror Mirror, Employee of the Month), Minae Noji (Be Cool, Bitch Slap), and Pete Ploszek.
This revamp is directed by Jonathan Liebesman, known for Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning, Darkness Falls, Wrath of the Titans, and Battle Los Angeles.
