(PCM) WWE put together a truly touching tribute to honor the life of young fan who tragically lost his battle with cancer back in April. The young boys’ name was Connor Michalek and went by the wresting moniker “The Crusher”. Michalek was a huge fan of wrestler Daniel Bryan and got to meet him once when Bryan was a member of Team Hell No With Kane. The pair posed for pictures and Michalek was even able to get Bryan into a submission hold and force him to tap out.
Michalek was able to attend WrestleMania XXX and sadly passed away only a few short weeks later. The WWE produced a tribute video that showcased Michalek’s time spent with the organization and ends with his trip to WrestleMania XXX and the moment he got to share with his favorite wrestler after Daniel Bryan won the World Heavyweight Championship title.
