Warner Bros. Pictures Announces Nine New DC Comics Films

Warner-Brothers-logo(PCM) The world of superhero movies and franchises has been growing faster than bamboo in the past couple of years and DC Comics and Warner Bros. Pictures are continuing to expand this universe with their recent announcement of nine new films to come in the next four years.

What we know so far is that the nine films are currently titled “Untitled DC Film” and will be released between August 5, 2016 and June 19, 2020.

There are also two “Untitled WB Event Film” projects listed that some are speculating could be the first and second Justice League films or Harry Potter spin-offs, like Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

The films and their release dates follow:

Untitled DC Film – August 5, 2016
Untitled DC Film – June 23, 2017
Untitled DC Film – November 17, 2017
Untitled DC Film – March 23, 2018
Untitled DC Film – July 27, 2018
Untitled WB Event Film – November 16, 2018
Untitled DC Film – April 5, 2019
Untitled DC Film – June 14, 2019
Untitled DC Film – April 3, 2020
Untitled DC Film – June 19, 2020
Untitled WB Event Film – November 20, 2020

Many are speculating that Wonder Woman, Shazam/Black Adam, and Sandman are on this list, but nothing has been confirmed!

PCM already reported on Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson teasing at a role in Shazam/Black Adam and Joseph Gordon-Levitt is supposedly in talks to direct/star in DC Comic’s Sandman.

Looks like we’ll just have to sit on the edge of our seats for a bit until some official announcements are made! Comment below telling us what titles you think Warner Bros. Pictures will reveal!
