Kanye-West2

(PCM) We spent our Labor Day weekend partying on the Ben Franklin Parkway at the Budweiser Made In America Festival in Philadelphia, PA with some of music’s top artists such as Kanye West, Kings Of Leon, Pharrell Williams, Steve Aoki, Tiesto, The National, Spoon, YG, Destructo, Bleachers and many many more.

On Saturday evening we had the great pleasure of catching up with The World Famous Tony Williams, who was performing that evening with his cousin Kanye West.

Williams is best known as both a singer and a co-writer on all of Kanye’s albums including “College Dropout” where his named as a co-writer on “Spaceship” and “Last Call” and provided vocals on those tracks, as well as, “I’ll Fly Away and “School Spirit”. On “Late Registration” he provided vocals on “Drive Slow” and “Late”, on “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” Williams can be heard on “Runaway” and “All Of The Lights” to name a few.

Williams has also appeared on West’s latest album release “Yeezus” singing on “Blood On The Leave”.  Aside from his work on Kanye’s album’s Williams has also worked with Jay-Z, Rick Ross, Kid Sister, and Outlawz as well.

Williams released his solo effort “King Or The Fool” back in 2012 and tell us that currently he is working on a follow-up to that album as well as the upcoming sequel to “Yeezus” with Kanye.
