(PCM) War takes its toll on Brad Pitt and his crew as bombs burst overheard in the new tense trailer for director David Ayer’s war drama Fury.
The new international trailer focuses on the relationship between Logan Lerman as the naive and new-to-war Norman Ellison and Brad Pitt as the seasoned and hardened “Wardaddy.”
It’s April, 1945. As the Allies make their final push in the European Theatre, a battle-hardened army sergeant named Wardaddy (Brad Pitt) commands a Sherman tank and her five-man crew on a deadly mission behind enemy lines.
Outnumbered and outgunned, and with a rookie soldier thrust into their platoon, Wardaddy and his men face overwhelming odds in their heroic attempts to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany.
Starring alongside Brad Pitt and Logan Lerman are Shia LaBeouf, Michael Pena, Jon Bernthal, Scott Eastwood, Xavier Samuel, and Jason Isaacs.
Written and directed by David Ayer (End of Watch, Training Day, Fast and Furious), Fury is based on the U.S. 2nd Armored Division, also known as “Hell on Wheels,” who played a pivotal role in the invasion of Sicily and North Africa as well as the liberation of Belgium, France, and the Netherlands.
