(PCM) Universal and Legendary have released a new featurette for Dracula Untold, the action/fantasy that is reinventing the origin story of one of horror’s greatest monsters.
The new featurette, seen below, introduces Mirena, Vlad Tepes’ wife, played by Sarah Gadon.
Watch the featurette below and catch Dracula Untold at your local 2D and IMAX theaters starting October 10, 2014.
Dracula Untold tells the origin story of the man behind Bram Stoker’s classic novel like you’ve never seen it before; as a man who chooses the curse of the vampire in order to save the ones he loves.
Luke Evan (Fast and Furious 6, Immortals) stars as Vlad Tepes alongside Sarah Gadon (Enemy, A Dangerous Method), Dominic Cooper (Captain America: The First Avenger, Need for Speed), and Charles Dance (Game of Thrones, Gosford Park).
Dracula Untold is directed by Gary Shore from the screenplay written by newcomers Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless, who teamed up with director Alex Proyas (Dark City, I, Robot) to write the screenplay for Summit Entertainment’s Gods of Egypt, set for a February 12, 2016 wide release.
Dracula Untold is director Gary Shores’ first full-length feature film; he has previously directed high-end commercials and garnered a lot of attention in Hollywood for a trailer he directed for a faux film, The Cups of Tears.
Dracula Untold opens in 2D and IMAX theaters nationwide October 10, 2014. Visit the film’s official website for more info!
