New U.S. Trailer and Poster for Paddington!

paddingtonheadernew(PCM) A new U.S. trailer and poster for Paul King’s family adventure-comedy, Paddington, have made their way to fans thanks to TWC-Dimension, who released the trailer and poster on Thursday. Watch the new trailer below and see the poster above.

From the beloved novels by Michael Bond and producer David Heyman (Harry Potter), Paddington tells the story of the comic misadventures of a young Peruvian bear who travels to the city in search of a home.

Finding himself lost and alone, he begins to realize that city life is not all he had imagined – until he meets the kindly Brown family who read the label around his neck that says “Please look after this bear. Thank you,” and offer him a temporary haven.

It looks as though his luck has changed until this rarest of bears catches the eye of a museum taxidermist.

Paddington, voiced by Ben Whishaw (Perfume: The Story of a Murder, Skyfall), was originally to be voiced by Colin Firth , but he announced his withdrawal from the film in June of 2014.

Starring alongside Ben Whishaw are Hugh Bonneville, Nicole Kidman, Sally Hawkins, Jim Broadbent, Julie Walters, Michael Gambon, and Imelda Staunton.

Paddington opens in U.S. theaters nationwide January 16, 2015.
