(PCM) Sony Pictures Entertainment released a new trailer for District 9 director Neill Blomkamp’s latest film, a futuristic action-thriller about the first robot created with Artificial Intelligence, Chappie.
The new trailer features Hugh Jackman and his villainous mullet as he hunts for and tries to destroy Chappie, the first robot with A.I., due to the potential risk it poses to the human race. We also see a decent amount of Slumdog Millionaire star Dev Patel as Chappie’s creator and South African rap group Die Antwoord, who also star in the film as themselves.
The third film between writer-director Neill Blomkamp and writer Terri Tatchell, Chappie stars Hugh Jackman, Sigourney Weaver, Dev Patel, Sharlto Copley, Jose Pablo Cantillo, Ninja and Yo-Landi Vi$$er and will open in theaters nationwide starting March 6, 2015.
