Letters From The Fire front-woman Alexa Kabazie has parted ways with the band “almost two months ago” as Kabazie has stated in her social media post about her departure from the band. She thanked fans for their ongoing support over the last two years as she fronted Letters From The Fire flawlessly, as we mentioned in a review when they were on tour with Seether.
Shortly after Kabazie’s post on Facebook, Letters From The Fire took to their band Facebook account to announce Kabazie’s departure and also announce her replacement and the woman who will be the new front-woman of the band, telling fans that “Due to unforeseen circumstances and philosophical differences, we have decided to part ways with Alexa.” Continuing to say that they are “incredibly excited to announce Nina Bergman as our new front woman.” They have also told fans that they are currently in the studio “hard at work” and to “expect a new LFTF record early 2018.”
You can read both parties statements below:
Kabazie’s Statement:
“yes, i quit letters almost two months ago. they’ve found their replacement so i’m finally allowed to talk about it publicly. i hope everyone can respect the decision i made for my happiness and wellbeing.
maybe i’ll make a longer statement later on, maybe i won’t. i just don’t have the energy to deal with the dark cloud that is this whole situation right now. i’m glad that it’s finally in the light and i can move on with my life. i’m looking forward to my future in the music industry.
thank you so much for all of your love and support over the past two years. i hope whatever i do next will make you all proud.
” -Alexa Kabazie
