‘Mayans M.C.’ Teaser Pays Respects To SOA’s Jax

And just like that, Kurt Sutter tied-in the upcoming Mayans M.C. series with his hit series Sons of Anarchy without even airing an episode. The tie-in comes in form of a teaser for the Sons of Anarchy spinoff which premieres this Fall on FX. View the awesome teaser below.

The new teaser pays respects to Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam) who died in the finale of SOA. Jax was the vice president of SAMCRO, the rival turned friends of the Mayans motorcycle club. Up to this point, the teasers for the upcoming series all have the theme of open roads in the middle of nowhere which is biker heaven.

Mayans M.C. is a drama series from Kurt Sutter and Elgin James, and is the next chapter in the Sons of Anarchy saga. Set in a post-Jax Teller world, EZ Reyes is a prospect in the Mayans M.C. charter on the Cali/Mexi border. Now, EZ must carve out his new identity in a town where he once was the golden boy with the American Dream in his grasp. Produced by Fox 21 Television Studios and FX Productions.

Before the M.C. rolls into your television screen, the cast and creator Kurt Sutter are riding into San Diego Comic Con for a Mayans M.C. panel which takes place Sunday July 22, from 1pm – 2pm.

The series will debut on FX September 4th.
