Kevin Hart and Will Ferrell Star in Etan Cohen’s Comedy, ‘Get Hard’

GetHArd(PCM) Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart, undoubtedly two of the successful comedians/actors working, have answered comedy fans’ prayers everywhere and teamed up for Warner Bros. Pictures’ Get Hard.

Get Hard is written and directed by Etan Cohen (Idiocracy, Tropic Thunder) from a screenplay by Jay Martel & Ian Roberts (Key & Peele) from the story by Adam McKay (Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Step Brothers) and Jay Martel & Ian Roberts.

Will Ferrell stars as a white collar worker facing hard time in jail and in need of some toughening up. Comically mistaking small business owner Kevin Hart as a hardened street-wise criminal, Ferrell enrolls him as his coach in the 30 days leading up to his sentence.

‘Two Days, One Night’ Opens in U.S. Theaters December 24

Benedict Cumberbatch is Marvel’s Doctor Strange!

DoctorStrange(PCM) After much speculation, Marvel Studios has confirmed that Benedict Cumberbatch of Sherlock and Star Trek Into Darkness will star in the studio’s live action Doctor Strange adaption, slated to open in 3D and 2D theaters nationwide November 4, 2016.

Created by Steve Ditko and debuting in the Marvel comic book Strange Tales #110 in 1963, Doctor Strange is the Supreme Sorcerer of Earth, a powerful sorcerer with protecting the earth from mystical threats being his top priority.

Marvel Studios announced on Thursday that the titular role would be played by Benedict Cumberbatch. “Stephen Strange’s story requires an actor capable of great depth and sincerity,” explains producer Kevin Feige. “In 2016, Benedict will show audiences what makes Doctor Strange such a unique and compelling character.”

First Round of 2015 GRAMMY Nominations Announced!

GRAMMYAwards(PCM) In a live broadcast on Friday morning’s “CBS This Morning,” Pharrell Williams and Ed Sheeran announced the first round of GRAMMY nominations for 2015, with both announcers making an appearance on the list.

The official GRAMMY twitter account also tweeted the announcement and nominations to its 1.75 million followers.

Pharrell Williams is nominated for his album Girl for Best Contemporary Urban Album and Best Pop Solo Performance for his hit single of the same album, “Happy.” Ed Sheeran received a nomination for “Best Pop Vocal Album” for X.

The ‘Terminator Genisys’ Trailer is Here!

TerminatorGenisys(PCM) The first official trailer for Paramount Pictures’ Terminator Genisys premiered on the official Terminator Genisys Facebook page today, and this latest installment in the series flips the story on its head.

The trailer transports us to the future as John Connor send Kyle Reese, his soon-to-be father, back in time to save his mother, Sarah Connor, from the Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger).

Kyle Reese receives a shock when he lands in the year 1984, ready to find and protect Sarah Connor, but instead is saved by Sarah from SkyNet terminators. Sarah explains to Kyle that she was expecting him and that the past had changed from what he’d been expecting.

‘Spectre’ Announced As the Next James Bond Film, Starring James Craig

Spectre(PCM) In a live stream from the 007 launch event at the legendary Pinewood Studios in England this morning, director Sam Mendes announced the title and cast of the 24th installment in the James Bond film series, Spectre.

Mendes’ first reveal from the new film was the title screen; metallic beveled font spelling out Spectre slowly appearing from with a solid black background with a gunshot leaving a fractured bullet hole through the “c” in the middle of the title.

To the delight of those in attendance and James Bond fans watching the live stream worldwide, Sam Mendes jokingly introduced the first “cast member;” the new Aston Martin DB10, designed in collaboration with the director, continuing the franchises’ 50 year relationship with the luxury sports car manufacturer.

20th Century Fox Releases Official Synopsis for ‘The Fantastic Four’

TheFantasticFour(PCM) It’s less than a year away from the scheduled August 1, 2015 release date for 20th Century Fox’s The Fantastic Four reboot and there’s very little to show for it.

Up until now, there was only an official cast to speculate with, no synopsis, poster, trailer, or even official set photos. 20th Century Fox has answered Fantastic Four fans’ prayers and finally released the official synopsis, which states:

Official Cast for Warner Bros. Pictures’ ‘Suicide Squad’

suicide squad(PCM) Warner Bros. Pictures has announced the official cast for writer-director David Ayer’s live-action adaptation of DC Comics’ Suicide Squad, based on the legendary Task Force X.

Will Smith, Tom Hardy, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Jai Courtney, Jesse Eisenberg, and Cara Delevingne will all star in the action-adventure flick following DC Comics Universe’s anti-hero team of incarcerated supervillains. In exchange for shorter and more lenient prison sentences, the group take on dangerous undercover black ops missions, working as deniable assets for the U.S. government.

The official synopsis for Suicide Squad has yet to be released, along with the poster or any other promotional materials, but the film is still in pre-production, not scheduled to hit theaters until August 5, 2016.

Bilbo Baggins Takes A Stand in New ‘The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies’ Clip

The_Hobbit-_The_Battle_of_the_Five_Armies_3(PCM) New Line Cinema released a new clip from the final installment of Peter Jackson’s Hobbit trilogy, The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, more than two weeks out from the film’s release.
