Exclusive: Director Dimitri Logothetis Talks To Us About His Films Kickboxer And Jiu Jitsu

Dimitri Logothetis knows a thing or two about movies. Dimitri acted in a few movies as a child, including The Choirboys, New York, New York, and Victory at Entebbe. Dimitri has worn many hats in the entertainment industry, including producer, writer, and director. We had the incredible opportunity to interview the busy director about his movies Kickboxer and his latest film Jiu Jitsu which stars, Nicolas Cage and is now streaming at #4 on Netflix. AOTN: What is it like working with a major studio? DIMITRI LOGOTHETIS: You know, the majority of my work is independent. 75% independent?  And I do about 25% of major studio stuff. Which is a longer road because you need to, you know, build your resume. You need to work at the studio, and the studio needs to agree. You get an actor, and maybe there not available. So you go through a lot of development. You know, you have to fly by the seat of your pants when you’re ready to go. And most of the time, what I tell everybody is, you know, …

EXCLUSIVE: Michael Connelly Talks To Us About His New Podcast “The Wonderland Murders”

Michael Connelly knows a thing or two about justice and murder. The writer/creator has been writing about those very things for decades and is showing no signs of slowing down. Connelly is probably best known as the creator of the hit show Bosch, which is in its seventh season. The films Blood Work and The Lincoln Lawyer are based on Connelly’s books. It was recently announced that Netflix had ordered a series based on The Lincoln Lawyer with famed television showrunner David E. Kelly. With all that going on, Connelly has still found time to write and make podcasts (Murder Book), and now The Wonderland Murders & The Secret History of Hollywood, which is available on Audible. AOTN: What got you into writing about crime and mystery? MICHAEL CONNELLY: It’s almost like all these dominoes of faith had to fall. And then again, but one of the key things was when I was 16, I witnessed a witness in a case where I saw a guy hiding a gun and using it to shoot somebody. And so I spent a …

Patients entered his operating room for complex but routine spinal surgeries and left permanently maimed or dead. Kevin Can F Himself Is That Show You Always Wanted To See

Season One of Kevin Can F Himself is underway on AMC, and it is a precious gem of a show. The show is unlike anything I’ve ever seen on television, and I love it. The show stars Annie Murphy as Allison (Schitt’s Creek)  and Eric Peterson as Allison’s very annoying husband, Kevin. The show follows Allison McRoberts, a sitcom wife who escapes the prerecorded laughs and multi-camera setup famous in many American sitcoms and starts leading her own life. Every time she is away from her husband, the viewers look at what Allison feels more realistically by using a single camera setup. For everybody who has ever watched a sitcom show and thought that the characters were annoying and fake, this show is for you. Just the concept alone was enough to keep me watching. The show was created by Valerie Armstrong, who also serves as an executive producer. Check out new episodes of Kevin Can F Himself on AMC on Sunday nights.

Are We Going To Get A Mare Of Easttown Season 2

It has been close to two weeks since HBO’s stunning and emotionally draining season finale for Mare of Easttown. The show was a hit with both critics and fans. With many fans putting asking each other who they thought was the murderer? I was wrong in who I thought done it, as many of my friends turned in week after week. Unfortunately, they were wrong with their guess too. All the mystery paid off, and the writing and acting on the show were superb. Mare of Easttown revolves around a detective who is trying to solve a murder in Pennsylvania. Over a seven-episode run, the show brought Evan Peters, Guy Pierce, Jean Smart, and Julianne Nicholson together. The cast did a phenomenal with the characters they were portraying.  In many interviews, Kate Winslet has said that she loved playing the part and would be down to play the detective once more. The show was created by Brad Ingelsby and premiered in early April. Craig Zobel directed all seven episodes. As of now, HBO or Ingelsby has not said if a …
