Adult Swim Outdoes Themselves At Comic Con 2014

(PCM) Thursday and Friday at the ‘Con brought us show creators and voice talent from Childrens Hospital, the new Triumph / McBrayer Sitcom, Mike Tyson Mysteries, Rick and Morty, The Venture Bros., Robot Chicken, Mr. Pickles and Tim & Eric’s Bedtime Stories. In addition, the #1 brand activation at last year’s convention by AdWeek, the Adult Swim Fun House, returned for a second year of Robot Pumps and Spasm Chasms. Nestled next to the Fun House, the Meatwad Full Dome Experience made its debut. This familiar fast-food friend guided guests on a journey through a mind-fudging interdimensional-space-coaster-love-canal. Childrens Hospital conquered Comic Con on Thursday with a panel and signing featuring creator, executive producer and star Rob Corddry and Rob Huebel. The panel, moderator by Adult Swim’s EVP and Creative Director Mike Lazzo, highlighted the triumphant return of Childrens Hospital in 2015 for a sixth season! An Inside Look At History’s ‘Vikings’ At Comic Con 2014

(PCM) We were able to catch up with the cast of History’s “Vikings” while out at San Diego Comic Con this past weekend and after chatting with cast members Travis Fimmel, Clive Standen, Katheryn Winnick and Alexander Ludwig we can hardly contain our excitement for “Vikings” season three. Currently, season three is still in production and it slated to premiere in 2015. When discussing the fact that there is still unfinished business in England, Standen revealed that they will still be in England for the upcoming season, but rest assured that Paris is coming. He jokingly says “It’s in the history books…saying too much about it now would spoil it for you”. Fimmel adds that “Rollo and Ragnar still want to explore new places, which goes back to the original idea from back in season one where Ragnor comes to Rollo and says that he found a wanderer that showed him that England exists and it makes them wander what else is out there. Our Inside Scoop Of The Film News Revealed At Comic Con 2014!

(PCM)Yesteday was a huge day for film annoucements at San Diego Comic Con 2014, with WB, Legendary, and Marvel all revealing big news to the thousands of fans in attendance.

We not only got to see the first footage of Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, but as a surprise the cast of the highly anticipated film made a brief appearance which caused the massive Hall H crowd to go wild as Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, and Gal Gadot graced the stage.

I also have to note that it was was truly amazing to see the newly expanded Hall H screens which assisted in making the film clips and footage shown even more impressive than ever…it’s all about the ambience right?

First Look At The Walking Dead Season Five Revealed At Comic Con

(PCM)Yesterday, legions of hungry Walking Dead fans got their first taste of season five for the hit AMC Network series. During the shows Comic Con panel the very first trailer for the new season was revealed.We were able to catch up with the cast of The Walking Dead earlier in the day and while we certainly did our best to get some more reveals about the new season, the cast was mostly hush hush on what was in store for the coming season. Actor Andrew Lincoln did however tell us that the first moments of the new season will be absolutely “mind-blowing”! Producer Greg Nicotero also added “We were not sure we were going to get away with everything that makes up the first six minutes of the new season, but surprisingly everything was able to stay in.” Our full interviews with the cast of The Walking Dead is coming soon, so stay locked into PCM! Could Joaquin Phoenix Be Officially Revealed As Doctor Strange

(PCM) There has been a lot of buzz surrounding the fact that Oscar nominated actor Joaquin Phoenix has been in talks for the role of Doctor Strange. Now, with Saturday being Marvels big day at Comic Con 2014, it has been speculated that the official announcement will be made today.

Several sources have spotted Phoenix around Comic Con, so it is truly one of the most logical explanations for him being in town. Scott Derrickson is directing and Jon Spaihts is writing the script for the upcoming film.

Expect New Episodes Of Community After Christmas

Tv Guide magazine hosted the panel for Community at Comic Con yesterday and it was revealed that fans can expect new episodes of the series to begin sometime around Christmas this year. The series was recently picked up for it’s sixth and supposed final season by Yahoo TV. The hash tag #six seasons and a movie has long been the running joke associated with the show and it does appear that prediction will be true. When asked about the status of the recently departed cast member Donald Glover, show creator Dan Harmon teased “Troy’s out there somewhere and he may be in peril. Interview with Fifth Beatle author Vivek Tiwary

(PCM) While you may not know his face, you are certainly aware of his work! Vivek Tiwary is the author of the NY Times best-selling graphic novel “The Fifth Beatle”and also was the producer of the hit Broadway musical Green Day’s “American Idiot”.

Tiwary chatted with us about the upcoming film adaptation of “The Fifth Beatle” which is currently in pre-production. He revealed “we are still currently working on casting, but should have some announcements soon. We are talking to someone for the lead role of Brian Epstein”.

Tiwary told us that he has been a fan of The Beatles for as long as he can remember and credits his mother for introducing him to their music. He also said that Sir Paul McCartney sent him a note saying that he enjoyed the book and had his seal of approval. Tiwary says”It was surreal!”

Fandango Poll Reveals The Most Anticipated Films At Comic Con 2014

Avengers1(PCM) Comic-Con is finally upon us, and to celebrate Fandango surveyed more than a thousand moviegoers on the most anticipated movies at this year’s convention. Avengers: Age of Ultron is the Con’s Most Anticipated, with Batman v. Superman right behind it.

“The biggest buzz is definitely surrounding Avengers 2: Age of Ultron and Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice,” said Fandango Fangirl Tiffany Smith. “Avengers 2 has so much power behind it because Marvel hasn’t had a single misstep in their cinematic universe and expectations are sky-high.
