Is Dwayne Johnson the New Shazam?!

(PCM) In the weeks leading up to Comic-Con® International, everyone has been throwing around speculations about upcoming films and potential projects, speculating on titles, superheros,and franchise continuations.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has been adding fuel to the fire, dropping hints since March that he will have a role in a DC Comics superhero film.

No cast have been officially added to the film yet but rumors are flying that Dwayne Johnson will play either superhero Shazam aka “Captain Marvel” or anti-hero Black Adam.

Back in March, rumors were spreading that Johnson would play the role of John Stewart, better known as the Green Lantern, but he squashed those rumors by responding to speculators on his Twitter saying:

FX’s The Strain Infects Comic-Con With Exclusive Fan Event!

Sin City: A Dame To Kill For Making It’s Way To Comic Con 2014

(PCM) “Sin City: A Dame To Kill For” will be making an appearance at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con! We’ve got the inside scoop at where to check out the film’s classic cars, the film’s high anticipated Hall H panel and of course the autograph signing at the Dark Horse booth!

The film’s classic cars will be on display at Petco Park parking lot throughout Comic-Con (July 24-27) against a 102-foot long Sin City skyline. The cars will will include a 1985 Dodge Diplomat, 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air, 1960 Chevy Corvette, 1959 Cadillac el dorado, 1964 1/2 Ford Mustang convertible and 1949 Cadillac Sedanette. There will also be a Sin City style photo booth, a live DJ every day and promo giveaways (t-shirts, poker chips, playing cards, mini posters and books).

Vikings Returning To San Diego Comic-Con

(History) Vikings will return to San Diego Comic Con on Friday, July 25 with several exciting opportunities for fans, including a panel with exclusive season three footage, an interactive “On the Set” experience and autograph signing. Fans will get a behind-the-scenes look at VIKINGS and have a starring role in their own custom video that can be shared on social media. From the moment fans enter the “back-lot” they will be treated as cast members. Upon entering, guests will create a character profile and choose a weapon of choice. Next, they will meet with hair and make-up artists to become transformed into a fierce Viking and be placed into three scenes complete with Vikings ships, battles, axes and villages. Details Emerge About The Walking Dead’s Invasion of Comic-Con 2014

(PCM) Returning for its’ fourth year in a row, AMC’s The Walking Dead will again be bringing a huge presentation to Hall H with plenty of cast and crew on-hand. Everyone is sure to be on the edge of their seats to find out just what is in-store for Season Five…I know we certainly are! There will be a new trailer for the upcoming season premiered as well! Panelists will include cast members Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Lauren Cohan, Danai Gurira, Melissa McBride, Chad Coleman, Michael Cudlitz, executive producer and showrunner Scott Gimple, EPs Gale Anne Hurd, Robert Kirkman, David Alpert and special effects make-up supervisor Greg Nicotero. Warner Bros. Entertainment Set To Deliver An Amazing Showcase Of Content At Comic-Con 2014

Entertainment will plant its flag at Comic-Con International: San Diego this year with a huge presence, with each individual division touting its upcoming offerings, including Film, Television, Interactive and Home Entertainment, as well as a variety of product from DC Entertainment, whose celebrations in honor of 75 years of one of the world’s most beloved Super Heroes—Batman—will be in full swing. On Saturday, July 26th, beginning at 10 a.m., Warner Bros. Batman: The Complete Television Series Is Coming To Comic Con 2014

Home Entertainment will officially unveil the details of its highly-anticipated November 2014 release of “Batman: The Complete Television Series” at a Comic-Con International panel – featuring special guests Adam West, Burt Ward and Julie Newmar – on Thursday, July 24 from 6:00-7:00pm in Hall H.

FX Networks Announces 2014 Comic-Con Slate
