Nerding Out: Quentin Tarantino Shares The Ultimate Playlist Of Music From His Film Catalog

Love or hate Quentin Tarantino as a filmmaker, most all of us can agree that the famed director knows how to put together one heck of an amazing film soundtrack! Credit definitely has to be given to his music director Mary Ramos, as the pair always seem to find the perfect soundscape to capture the essence of many pivotal scenes throughout Tarantino’s extensive body of work. Much of the music has its’ roots in the genre of funk and soul, however, there is also quite a bit of surf rock, country and classical thrown in for good measure as well. Tarantino digs out many lesser heard tracks but also manages to bring about a fresh life to some legendary classics as well. In support of his amazing new film “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood”, Tarantino has paired up with Spotify for a takeover of their Film & TV Favorites playlist to compile a 71 song tracklist of some of his personal favorites from his own film soundtracks. Give Me Horror Bradley Cooper

Bradley Cooper is a globally recognized actor whether he likes it or not. Last year Cooper also made his directorial debut with the blockbuster hit A Star Is Born. The movie received numerous awards including eight nominations at the 91st Academy Awards. It won best original song for Lady Gaga’s song “ Shallow”. Lady Gaga was Cooper’s costar in the film and was also nominated for Best Actress. A Star Is Born was nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars but did not win. I bet Sean Penn was really upset about the loss considering he wrote an essay for Deadline about his love for the film back in February. A Star Is Born is a great film, but why would you award a film that has been remade three times? Cooper did show he has directorial chops, but he needs some originality when it comes to a story.
