Starbucks Unleashes A Creeptacular New Drink For Halloween!

(PCM) Coffee giant Starbucks have just recently unveiled their creepy new drink for Halloween fittingly called the Franken Frappucino.

Despite its’ creepy name the drink actually sounds like it will be quite delicious. It is green in color (of course) and made up of a green-tea based drink created using peppermint syrup, white chocolate sauce, java chips and finally topped off with whipped cream and mocha drizzle.

Starbucks also happens to be offering a scary good deal now through Halloween night on their blended beverages. All grande frappuccinos purchased after 2pm will only cost $3.00!

While the special Franken Frappuccino will only be offered in select locations, you can use your skills with the Starbucks secret menu by knowing the ingredients and just how to order this specialty drink to try it out.… Full Story

Walmart In Hot Water For Selling “Fat Girl Costumes”

(PCM) Walmart has stirred up some controversy after several customers noticed that there was a link on the company’s website that was labeled “Fat Girl Costumes” rather than the typical (and socially acceptable “Plus-Sized Costumes”) aimed at online shoppers looking to purchase Halloween costumes.

The incident was first reported by Jezabel.com, when are reader sent in an outraged comment about the harsh labeling. The first Twitter comment directed at the company criticizing the labeling was published back on 10/21 and received what appeared to be some sort of automated reply in response.

As more and more individuals began to chime in and complain to the company, it has become a huge public relations nightmare for Walmart overall.… Full Story

New Posters For Saw’s Tenth Anniversary Re-Release!

Saw(PCM) Two new posters have been released in celebration of Lionsgate re-releasing their 2004 thriller, Saw. The gory horror film reopens in theaters on Halloween; check the new posters out below!

Shocking audiences and critics alike, Saw originally released in theaters on October 29, 2004, splitting critics on the film’s gory take on horror.

Richard Roeper of Ebert and Roeper openly disliked the film saying: “Saw has art-house ambitions, but it’s nothing but a glorified snuff film. I despised this movie” while David Edelstein of Slate called Saw “an ingenious machine for inducing terror, rage, and paralyzing unease.”

The directorial debut from filmmaker James Wan, this psychological thriller comes from the first screenplay by actor Leigh Whannell, who also stars.

Whannell plays Adam, one of two men chained up in a mysterious chamber. The other, Dr. Gordon (Cary Elwes), like Adam, has no idea how either of them got there. … Read more
