Shudder’s record-breaking series Creepshow, executive produced by showrunner Greg Nicotero (The Walking Dead), is based on George Romero’s 1982 horror comedy classic and brings to life a series of vignettes, exploring terrors ranging from murder, creatures, monsters and delusions to the supernatural and unexplainable. Heralded as “an irresistibly macabre package,” (Slant Magazine) and “an undeniable love letter to all generations of horror fans,” (CBR), the series has, over three seasons, been one of the most watched programs on Shudder and begins production on its new installment this spring. Creepshow is produced by the Cartel with Monster Agency Productions, Taurus Entertainment, and Striker Entertainment. No actors or stories have been announced for season four of Creepshow, but looking back at past season, Nicotero has the goods to deliver something horribly satisfyingly. But those names are also synonymous with a certain stolen video tape that would hit the internet in 1997 and the rest us history. The eight episode run of Pam and Tommy is now streaming on Hulu. The series follows the tale of how a private videotape between a married super couple ended up for the eyes of the world to view. Sebastian Stan and Lily James star as Tom and Pam, and from what has hit the press about the two actors had to go through a lot of make-up and prosthetics to get into the role. Seth Rogen, Nick Offerman, and Andrew Dice Clay also star in the series. The series is based loosely off of a 2014 article in Rolling Stone, written by Amanda Chicago Lewis, and follows all the craziness that ensued after a disgruntled handyman stole the infamous tape. The Byrde family is finally back on Netflix for its final run. The series has been a staple for the streaming service since it first debuted in 2017. This season looks to be just as bloody and messy for the Byrde family as the past three season’s. No one gets out clean. Ozark revolves around a financial advisor named Marty Byrde portrayed by Jason Bateman. Marty moves his family from Chicago to the Missouri Ozarks, where he must launder money for his drug cartel boss. And along the way try to be husband, dad, all the while dealing with murder and mayhem that the Ozarks present. The fourth and final season of Ozark is now streaming on Netflix. The first three episodes of Peacemaker are now streaming on HBO Max. The series has fans loving John Cena in the role of Peacemaker. The show is an off shoot from Gunn’s 2021’s movie, The Suicide Squad which see’s Peacemaker being one of the villain’s. And the show is the aftermath of what goes down with his character in that film. John Cena was born to play the role of Peacemaker, and if you thought of anyone else who could fill those boots, you would be hard pressed. Gunn’s ability to mix just the right music, emotion, and storyline onscreen makes him one of the most prominent storytellers of this generation. That is one of the reasons Gunn is able to work on projects for DC and Marvel at the same time, which is a feat fit for the characters he puts on screen so easily. If you love cuss words, 80s glam metal, John Cena, interesting background characters, and a great story, Peacemaker should be your thing. Tomorrow night will see the season finale of the show Yellowjackets. The show premiered on Showtime in mid November and became a hit. With everything from fans deciphering the opening credits, and fans on Reddit and their conspiracy theories. All this melds together well with a great cast and story. Yellowjackets follows the tale of a successful girls high school soccer team and there descent into madness including cannibalism after a plane crash in the Ontario wilderness. The series also chronicles there modern life, and how their dealing with trauma twenty five years later. The series stars Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sophie Nélisse, Sammi Hanratty, Sophie Thatcher as the teenagers. And Melanie Lynskey, Tawny Cypress, Juliette Lewis, and Christina Ricci star as the adult versions of the teenagers. Showtime has already announced that a season two is on the way.
