Marvel is definitely setting up for the hype for the upcoming film “Captain Marvel”, as they have just unleashed the second trailer which focuses on the adventures of Carol Danvers a.k.a. Captain Marvel set in the early nineties way before the events that took place in “Avengers: Infinity War”.
Captain Marvel will don her Kree warrior suit after landing on Earth as the battle rages on with the Skrull, a group of shape-shifting aliens who can pass themselves off as human beings. We see Captain Marvel coming up against Nick Fury and the trailer even gives us a small Easter egg, as Fury is seen wearing the same device that he uses to call Danvers just before he fades to dust particles in “Avengers: Infinity War”.
“Captain Marvel” is co-written and co-directed by Anna Broden and Ryan Fleck, and stars Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Algenis Perez Soto, Rune Temte, McKenna Grace, Clark Gregg, and Jude Law, who appears in this second trailer as the leader of the Starforce.
