It is with great sadness that we report that teen actor Logan Williams best known for his portrayal of a young Barry Allen, on The CW’s “The Flash” has passed away at the age of 16.
The death of Williams was confirmed by the actors’ mother Marlyse Williams to the news in British Colombia in Canada and says that the family is “absolutely devastated” by his sudden passing. The young actors’ mother also stated that the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic is making it incredibly difficult for the family to mourn as there are still worldwide restrictions on social distancing and public gatherings.
“I am not able to hug my parents who lost their only grandchild,” Williams said. “It’s hard.” At this time Logan Williams’s immediate cause of death has yet to be revealed.
Star of “The Flash” Grant Gustin posted a tribute to Logan Williams via Instagram posting a photo of himself with the young actor that was taken back during the filming of the series pilot in 2014.

Just hearing the devastating news that Logan Williams has passed away suddenly. This picture was early in the filming of The Flash pilot episode back in 2014. I was so impressed by not only Logan’s talent but his professionalism on set. My thoughts and prayers will be with him and his family during what is I’m sure an unimaginably difficult time for them. Please keep Logan and his family in your thoughts and prayers during what has been a strange and trying time for us all. Sending love to everyone.
In addition to “The Flash”, Williams also had roles in “When Calls the Heart”, “Supernatural” and “The Whispers”.
Our sincere condolences go out to the family and friends of Logan Williams during this incredibly difficult time.
