The trek kicks off on September 29.
Drowning Pool, Ill Niño, and (Hed) P.E. are hitting the road this fall on the Brothers In Arms Tour. The trek kicks off on September 29 at the Abiline Convention Center in Abiline, TX and wraps up on October 31 at the Marquee Theater in Phoenix, AZ. Evolution Empire will be opening the shows.
“I’m grateful and excited, and looking forward to sharing stages with musicians that I admire, playing music that I’ve appreciated for years,” says Drowning Pool frontman Jasen Moreno. “I can’t wait to be on the road with my guys again, and I’m eager to see all the fans again – let’s stay safe and sound!”
Guitarist C.J. Pierce added, “Drowning Pool have been friends and family with these guys for more than twenty years – we opened for (Hed) P.E. before we were even signed, and we met Ill Niño on Ozzfest in 2002. When Dave Williams died, they hung our banner on their stage for the rest of the OZZfest. Twenty years later we’re all still kicking and bringing new music to the table – and we’re still brothers in arms.”
Hailing from Dallas, TX, Drowning Pool celebrate the 20th Anniversary of their multi-platinum Sinner debut with a new record label, new music, a forthcoming new album, and this fall’s Brothers In Arms Tour. The upcoming new release will be the band’s third studio album with Moreno, whose 2013 Resilience debut recently achieved gold sales status, making it the band’s second gold record to follow their multi-platinum debut.
Founding members Pierce (guitar), Stevie Benton (bass) and Mike Luce (drums) have played together for an uninterrupted 25 years, only further solidifying Drowning Pool’s presence as one of the new millennium’s premier hard rock/heavy metal crossovers.
“I am extremely pleased to be hitting the road with my longtime brothers in Drowning Pool and (Hed) P.E.,” says founding Ill Niño drummer Dave Chavarri. “Ill Niño has deep history with both bands, back to 2001. This is a tour not to be missed!”
New Jersey-bred Ill Niño have sold two million records worldwide and shared stages around the globe with the biggest names in modern rock and metal. Their lineup consists of original members Laz Pina (bass) and Chavarri, frontman Marcos Leal (Shattered Sun), returning percussionist Daniel Couto, and guitarists Jes DeHoyos (Sons Of Texas) and Sal Dominguez (ex-Upon A Burning Body).
The band recently released their new single “All or Nothing,” featuring guest vocalist Sonny Sandoval of P.O.D., from their forthcoming album IllMortals.
“I’m excited to be getting out on the road with Drowning Pool and Ill Niño,” says (Hed) P.E. frontman Jared Gomes. “I’ve known these guys personally since the beginning. We all came up together, so it’s nice to get back on the road with my brothers in arms. This tour is gonna fucking destroy. I wouldn’t miss this run if I were you!”
(Hed) P.E. are the pioneers of the G-Punk sound, which fuses together punk rock, metal, hip-hop and reggae. The band has toured the world for more than two decades alongside hard rock chart-toppers like Papa Roach and Linkin Park, hardcore legends Suicidal Tendencies, and graced the iconic Ozzfest Tour stage. (Hed) P.E. are set to release their new EP Sandmine on July 23 via Suburban Noize Records.
Evolution Empire released their debut single “Fist of God” back in May.
