Guitar icon Slash has revealed a new single “The River Is Rising” featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators. The track is the group’s first new piece of music since the 2018 LP Living The Dream. The album hit No. 1 on the Billboard Top Hard Rock Albums chart.

Slash has been had at work on the road with Guns N’ Roses since their return to touring back over the summer. On September 28, the rock legends released a brand new song “Hard Skool” and announced a new EP of the same name.
It is the first time in 28 years that vocalist Axl Rose, guitarist Slash, and bassist Duff McKagan have collaborated together on new material.
The forthcoming EP will also feature “Absurd,” a re-worked track from the Chinese Democracy sessions, as well as live recordings of the band’s ‘91 power ballad “Don’t Cry” and “You’re Crazy” from their seminal debut LP Appetite For Destruction.
Released back in August, “Absurd” was the first new Guns N’ Roses song in 13 years.
