Dear David S. Goyer Where Is The Hellraiser Script ?

Storytelling is a very compelling art form. The way a story is told on screen is called a screenplay, and one man has had much success with his screenplay’s. David S. Goyer has had much success in Hollywood and is a go too for a blockbuster. Goyer had much success with the Dark Knight films alongside Christopher Nolan. His latest film to hit theaters was Terminator: Dark Fate which was released last year to mixed reviews. Goyer has become Hollywood’s golden boy With the downfall of Miramax, a lot of movie properties were up for sale. The Hellraiser franchise was one of these properties. Hellraiser was first released in 1987 and was penned and directed by legendary storyteller Clive Barker. The Hellraiser franchise has seen its share of ups, but mostly downs. The last film in the franchise and under the banner of Dimension films (Miramax)  was Hellraiser Judgement released in 2018. In May of last year, SpyGlass Media Group announced that a new Hellraiser film was in the works.  Not a reboot, but a remake and the man to …

One Of The Worst Hollywood Ideas Of The Year. Pitting Cats Against Star Wars

It takes a team of dedicated people to make a feature film. If you don’t believe me just watch the ending credits of any film that has come out in the last sixty to seventy years. It takes a lot of hard work and time to tell a tale in ninety minutes, and it can take one or two executives to turn it into a flop. A case in point is the decision to open Cats around the same time as Star Wars. In fact, on further investigation according to IMDB, both films were released on the same day. It is a crazy idea to release a film like Cats against Star Wars which has a built-in fan base of forty plus years. The idea of the fandom and the fan’s thirst for this film should have been enough warning to the producers of Cats and the studio to move the release date. That means somewhere out there someone who gets paid lots and lots of money sat in a board room and the idea of a Cats and Star …

The Official Trailer For Ghostbuster’s Afterlife Has Arrived

Last week the world got a taste of what’s to come with the release of a teaser trailer for Ghostbuster’s Afterlife. You can check out that out here. Earlier today the official trailer for the movie was released. Fans of the films from the ’80s should be over-joyed after watching the trailer because we get a new original story with sprinkles of the past. In Ghostbusters: Afterlife, when a single mom and her two kids arrive in a small town, they begin to discover their connection to the original ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind. The film is written by Jason Reitman & Gil Kenan. Jason Reitman is the son of Ivan Reitman who directed the original two films. Ivan Reitman will also produce. The film will star Paul Rudd, Finn Wolfhard, and Carrie Coon. It has been rumored that the surviving original Ghostbusters Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, and Ernie Hudson will also be in the film. As a fan, I can’t wait to see the original cast return to the franchise and help put a …

The First Trailer For ‘Black Widow’ Has Arrived

While we are just now beginning to finally get our emotions together after the conclusion of “Avengers: Endgame”, Marvel has now given us the first trailer for the highly-anticipated “Black Widow” film. Disney/Marvel unveiled the trailer for the film which fans of the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) have been clamoring for since the Black Widow character, played by actress Scarlett Johansson, was first introduced ten years ago in “Iron Man 2”. The “Black Widow” film will mark the start of Phase 4 for the MCU and is slated for release on May 1, 2020. Without being an original story, the film will follow Natasha Romanoff into the traces of her past as a former KGB member. She will have to return to where she was trained, meet up with former colleagues and a sister, Yelena, who in the comic has already taken over the Black Widow character, so perhaps now we will figure out why! The film will also star Florence Pugh, Rachel Weisz and David Harbour. From the trailer and what we know at least part of the film …

This Year Has Been A Year Of Movies And Reflection For Shia LaBeouf

There was a time not too long ago that actor Shia LaBeouf’s antics in public and on movie sets were making more press than the movies he was in. During the 2012 making of the crime drama, “Lawless” rumors swirled around that LaBeouf and Tom Hardy got into a heated argument which led to LaBeouf punching out Hardy. That’s right LaBeouf punched out Bane from that Batman movie. In 2017 the actor was arrested for drunken intoxication. LaBeouf was ordered to pay some fines, perform 100 hours of community service, get counseling for anger management, and complete drug and alcohol evaluation. It was while in rehab that LaBeouf wrote the screenplay Honey Boy. The screenplay serves as autobiographical. In the film, LaBeouf plays an alcoholic abusive father to a child actor. Honey Boy director Alma Har’el, told the press that LaBeouf sent him the script while in rehab. LaBeouf won the Breakthrough Screenwriter Award at the Hollywood Film Awards back in November. While receiving the award LaBeouf thanked the officer that arrested him. The official trailer for Honey Boy is …

Colin Farrell Rumored To Be In Negotiations To Play Penguin In Upcoming ‘Batman’ Film

We can hardly contain our excitement for all the casting news and rumors that are popping up for Matt Reeve’s upcoming “Batman” film. We have now learned that actor Colin Farrell is rumored to be in negotiations to portray Penguin in the film. It is also rumored that actor Andy Serkis will be taking on the role of Alfred. If casting works out then these two will be joining Robert Pattinson as Batman, Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as Mystery Man and Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon. Filming is scheduled to start at the end of the year or in early 2020. We can only imagine that this remarkable cast will continue to grow and we certainly hope that negotiations will be worked out with both Farrell and Serkis as they will be excellent additions to this star-studded cast. It will be fantastic to see Farrell in the role of a villain once again, as we have not seen that side of him since his role in “Daredevil” opposite Ben Affleck.

Seven Bucks Productions Partner With 101 Studios On The Upcoming Film Unstoppable

Dwayne Johnson and Dany Garcia’s Seven Bucks Productions has partnered with 101 Studios, A Really Good Home Pictures, Coonskin Cap Productions and Gary Lewis to produce Unstoppable, the inspiring true-life story of sports hero Anthony Robles.  The one-of-a-kind drama follows Robles who, despite being born with only one leg to a single-parent family on the wrong side of the tracks, overcame every obstacle to become an undefeated collegiate wrestling star, three-time All-American, 2011 NCAA National Champion, two-time ESPY Award winner and a National Wrestling Hall of Fame inductee. “Words cannot express how honored I am to have my story made into a film,” Anthony Robles said. “Because I was born missing my leg, my entire life I’ve had to deal with people having low expectations of me. When I got into wrestling, most people thought it was impossible for me to become even an average wrestler. I’m hopeful that people who see Unstoppable will walk away believing that you should never let your challenges define you. If you have a goal, go after it with everything you’ve got. Nothing is impossible.” “Our entire Seven Bucks team is passionate about sharing …
