Upcoming ‘Lord Of The Rings’ Series Has Already Been Renewed For Season Two

Amazon is certainly sparing no budget for highly anticipated “Lord Of The Rings” series, as they have already reportedly spent a billion dollars on the project. While the first season is currently filming in New Zealand, it has just been revealed that the upcoming series has already been renewed for a season two! Amazon has plans to take the series over five seasons, with a possible spin-off and purchased the adaptation rights from the Tolkien Estate. Jennifer Salke, president of Amazon Studios, also said that season 2 writers were already meeting to write their first scripts. After the first two episodes of the series are completed by J. A. Bayona (Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Penny Dreadful), Season 1 of the Lord of the Rings will enter a hiatus of several months. The objective of this break is to give the showrunners, J. D. Payne and Patrick McKay time to refine the rest of the adventure and ensure perfect consistency between the various events that will disturb the Middle-earth. The Official Trailer For Netflix’s ‘V-Wars’ Has Arrived

Fans have been eagerly awaiting an official trailer for Netflix’s upcoming vampire series “V-Wars” based on the comic book by author Jonathan Mayberry and starring actor Ian Somerhalder and now it has finally arrived. “V-Wars” will mark the second vampire series lined up for Netflix, as they will soon be streaming the mini-series “Dracula” produced by Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss. In the adaptation of Jonathan Maberry and Alan Robinson’s story, Ian Somerhalder plays Luther Swann, a doctor who is trying to understand how a new virus turns human DNA into vampires. While vampires are conquering the world, his best friend, Michael Fayne (Adrian Holmes), is a victim of the same evil. The two men will find themselves enemies in the coming war. Showrunners will be William Laurin and Glenn Davis and the first season will be composed of 10 episodes. AMC revealed the first look at Michael Sheen as TV Presenter Chris Tarrant in the upcoming three-part drama, Quiz. FX Places Orders For Season Three Of ‘Mayans M.C.’

Mayans M.C. has been renewed for a third season, building on the strength of its current second season, it was announced today by Nick Grad, President, Original Programming, FX Entertainment.
