More Baby Yoda! Disney+ Reveals Trailer For Upcoming ‘Mandalorian’ Docuseries

We can’t think of a better way to celebrate May The Fourth otherwise known as unofficial Star Wars Day, than with the release of the upcoming “Mandalorian” docuseries coming to Disney+. The docuseries will take us deeper into the Star Wars universe with some inside information about the creative process behind the successful “Mandalorian” series. It will feature interviews with the series creators and filmmakers, a look at the production design and stories about Werner Herzog and of course Baby Yoda aka The Child. “He was acting against the baby and he started directing the baby directly,” recalls director Deborah Chow in a roundtable led by executive producer Jon Favreau. Herzog wanted The Child’s puppeteers to make him a scene partner who would do more than just sit there. Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian premiers May 4 on Disney+, with new episodes every Friday.

One Of The Worst Hollywood Ideas Of The Year. Pitting Cats Against Star Wars

It takes a team of dedicated people to make a feature film. If you don’t believe me just watch the ending credits of any film that has come out in the last sixty to seventy years. It takes a lot of hard work and time to tell a tale in ninety minutes, and it can take one or two executives to turn it into a flop. A case in point is the decision to open Cats around the same time as Star Wars. In fact, on further investigation according to IMDB, both films were released on the same day. It is a crazy idea to release a film like Cats against Star Wars which has a built-in fan base of forty plus years. The idea of the fandom and the fan’s thirst for this film should have been enough warning to the producers of Cats and the studio to move the release date. That means somewhere out there someone who gets paid lots and lots of money sat in a board room and the idea of a Cats and Star …

Disney has given us a slew of live-action remakes that have been remarkable such as “The Jungle Book”, “Beauty and the Beast”, “Dumbo” and “The Lion King” to name a few and now we can look forward to the upcoming remake of “Mulan”. The new trailer for the upcoming film show’s our favorite Disney warrior “Mulan” who is more than determined to fulfill her destiny and win over our hearts. The film was shot in both China and New Zealand and the scenery looks absolutely amazing. Mulan is played by Liu Yifei, aka Crystal Liu, a star of the big screen in China. Just like in the 1998 cartoon version of the story, her character is engaged to be married but decides to join the army instead, against the will of her family and the orders of the emperor, played by Jet Li. Mulan disguises herself as a man to defend her people against the Hun invasion. The film is being directed by Niki Caro, who was hired by Disney following the success of Whale Rider and The Zookeeper’s Wife. …

The First Trailer For ‘Black Widow’ Has Arrived

While we are just now beginning to finally get our emotions together after the conclusion of “Avengers: Endgame”, Marvel has now given us the first trailer for the highly-anticipated “Black Widow” film. Disney/Marvel unveiled the trailer for the film which fans of the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) have been clamoring for since the Black Widow character, played by actress Scarlett Johansson, was first introduced ten years ago in “Iron Man 2”. The “Black Widow” film will mark the start of Phase 4 for the MCU and is slated for release on May 1, 2020. Without being an original story, the film will follow Natasha Romanoff into the traces of her past as a former KGB member. She will have to return to where she was trained, meet up with former colleagues and a sister, Yelena, who in the comic has already taken over the Black Widow character, so perhaps now we will figure out why! The film will also star Florence Pugh, Rachel Weisz and David Harbour. From the trailer and what we know at least part of the film …
