Miss Delaware Has Lost Her Crown Due To Age

(PCM) It seems these pageant girls from Delaware can’t seem to catch a break. It has been recently revealed that the winner of the Miss Delaware 2014 pageant, Amanda Longacre, has been stripped of her crown and all winnings associated with the title due to organizers saying she is too old to compete.

24-year old Longacre will turn 25 in October and it is an overlooked requirement for the Miss America pageant that all contestants must be 24 years old through December of the competition year.

Longacre claims that she signed her contract with her age and birth date clearing marked on the form.… Full Story

Women Seek Out “Cinderella Surgery” To Fit In Designer Shoes

(PCM) The latest (and somewhat dangerous) cosmetic surgery trend among women is being called “Cinderella Surgery” and it involves altering a woman’s feet so that they can better fit into designer shoes.

The surgical procedures can involve anything from adjusting the length of the toes to removing bunions and corns from the foot itself. You can even request “toe lipo” which will aid in slimming down any chunky toes.

The “Cinderella Surgery” trend is on the rise due to more and more women wanting to be able to wear the killer heel designs they see in both television and film, as well as, on the pages of current fashion magazines.… Full Story

Teen Girl Feels School Is Shaming Girls For Their Bodies After Being Sent Home For Wearing Shorts

(PCM) Lindsey Stocker, a fifteen year old student from Quebec, Cananda, has launched a protest of her high school’s dress code after she was sent home for wearing shorts that school officials deemed to be too short.

Stocker, refused to change out of the shorts and give in to the school’s dress code policy. She decided to instead print out posters that criticized the school’s dress code policy and hang them up throughout the school building with hopes that the school officials would recognize their error in their ways.

The printed signs read “Don’t humiliate her because she’s wearing shorts. It’s hot outside.… Full Story

Model Kicked Out Of Pageant For Tweeting Topless Picture For Charity

(PCM) Barbara Eden, a 22-year old contestant in the Miss Oxfordshire beauty pageant in the UK, was kicked out of the competition after she tweeted a topless photo of herself for charity.

Eden tweeted the photo in order to bring about breast cancer awareness, a disease that is very close to her heart. Eden lost a close friend to breast cancer last year. The image had the following hash tags : #copafeel and #breastcancerawareness

When the tweeted image was revealed to pageant organizers they immediately notified Eden that she would no longer be permitted to compete and that she had “brought shame to the entire event”.… Full Story
