Pixar’s “Finding Dory” Releases Plot and Setting Details

FindingDory(PCM) When Pixar released Finding Nemo in 2003, the animated feature about an anxious clownfish, Marlin, on the hunt to find his son, Nemo, with the help with an endearingly forgetful fish, Dory, became an instant classic.

When news broke in 2012 that a sequel to Finding Nemo was in the works, the excitement was palpable. Then in 2013, Disney announced that the sequel would be titled Finding Dory and would star returning stars Albert Brooks as Marlin and Ellen Degeneres as Dory.

After campaigning for a sequel for some time, Ellen made an announcement on her show expressing her excitement at Disney’s official announcement, saying:

A ‘Frozen’ Sequel Could Already Be Underway

FRozen(PCM) Disney’s Frozen, released in 2013, captured the hearts of children, families, and even some grown adults everywhere, sweeping people up in it’s story of acceptance and sisterly love.

With Frozen being the highest-grossing animated film of all time, it makes perfect sense that Disney would capitalize on that success and start working on a sequel.

Well, Frozen fans can rejoice because Idina Menzel, the voice of Elsa, confirmed in an interview with The Telegraph that work on a Frozen sequel, as well as a 6-minute short and a theatrical production are all in the works!

When asked about her involvement in the sequel and theater show, the veteran Broadway actress said, “Not the stage show – I don’t know what will happen with that – but the movie hopefully. We’ll see. I’m just going along for the ride.”

Emily Blunt and James Cordon Lose the Cow in New Clip from Disney’s Into the Woods

IntoTheWoods(PCM) Awards season is upon us and with awards season comes rampant speculation as to which movie is going to be nominated for what award ; Disney’s musical Into the Woods is at the top of many pundits’ lists for at least the Academy Award for Best Original Song.

Walt Disney Pictures has released a new clip leading up to Into the Woods‘ Christmas Day release, giving fans more footage of the interaction between Meryl Streep as the Witch and James Cordon and Emily Blunt as the Baker and Baker’s Wife.

Toy Story 4 Is On The Way From Pixar

(PCM) The news was revealed that Pixar has signed on to make “Toy Story 4″ and what is even more exciting is that it will be directed by John Lasseter who helmed the original film.

The new film is set for release on June 17th, 2017 and according to the LA Times the new film will pick up where the previous film left off with a bit of a love story, where Andy gave all of his toys to a young girl named Bonnie.

Woman Accuses Disney Of Stealing Her Life Story For The Movie “Frozen”

(PCM) A woman by the name of Isabella Tanikumi is suing Disney for the amount of $250 million claiming that they stole excerpts of her life story for their mega-hit film “Frozen”.

Tanikumi, who is originally from Peru, says that “Frozen” pulls directly from her life and her book titled “Yearnings of the Heart” which was published back in 2010, which is her autobiography about her immigration from Peru to America.

Officially Disney has claimed that “Frozen” is based off of the Hans Christian Anderson story “Snow Queen”, however Tanikumi feels that the film is direct plagiarism of her own work. She only recently discovered the similarities after purchasing and watching the film with her young daughter.

Tanikumi, whose real name is Amy Gonzalez, has filed a copy right infringement suit in New Jersey and we have to admit that her story does share a few similarities with the Disney film … Read more

Tina Fey to Star and Produce Disney’s “Untitled Witch Project”

tina_fey(PCM) Tina Fey, well known and celebrated for her hilarious and quirky brand of humor, displayed on such shows as Saturday Night Live and 30 Rock, will be producing and starring in Disney’s new Untitled Witch Project.

Allison Shearmur (The Hunger Games) is producing the project alongside Tina Fey.

Many had high hopes that Tina Fey would be attached to the rumored sequel to Hocus Pocus, a 1993 film starring Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy, and Sarah Jessica Parker as three witches terrorizing a brother and sister in Salem, Massachusetts on Halloween.
