Friends 25th Anniversary Pop-Up Moves To Boston

We’re moving to Boston, FRIENDS fans (don’t worry Joey, you get your own room)! Following its wildly successful New York debut, the FRIENDS 25th Anniversary Pop-Up is coming to Beantown. Fans can turn their calendar back to 1994 to revisit some of the series’ most iconic moments with an immersive pop-up experience created by Superfly, Warner Bros. Consumer Products and Warner Bros. Television Group. “The One with the Pop-Up” will be located in Boston’s Fenway neighborhood at 401 Park (corner of Brookline Ave. and Fullerton St.). Tickets go on sale Friday, November 1, at 12:00 p.m. ET, exclusively at www.friends25popup.com. The nostalgia-packed space offers precise set re-creations and more than 50 original props from the show, providing ample opportunity to explore the show’s history and capture photos. FRIENDS Celebrates 25th Anniversary with New York City Pop Up

It wasn’t long till the FRIENDS New York City Pop Up sold out, as fans quickly grabbed their tickets to get inside to see some of their favorite props from the FRIENDS tv-series. The four-week exhibit is located at 76 Mercer Street in New York City’s SoHo area with a gift shop on 505 Broadway. “The One with the Pop-Up” FRIENDS exhibit, a title which is a nod to the series’ episode title themes opened up on Saturday, Sept. 7th in celebration of their 25th anniversary of the fan-favorite sitcom’s 1994 premiere. Bringing more than 50 original set props to Manhattan, New York including the 18-page letter Rachel wrote to Ross, the gold “best buds” bracelet that Joey gave Chandler, the Geller Cup, Phoebe’s “Glynnis” and more. “Stick a turkey on your head, peek through Rachel and Monica’s purple door, relax on Chandler and Joey’s recliner after playing some foosball or help Ross with the infamous sofa pivot,” the press release says. The Central Perk sofa is “going places!” So, take a seat, friends, as Warner Bros. Television Group celebrates the 25th anniversary of Friends by inviting you and your BFFs to snap a pic on the iconic three-seater. The must-see, comfy conversation starter will be found in some of the world’s most-talked-about destinations, starting with the Grand Canyon (see accompanying photo), and continuing to the Empire State Building, London’s Tower Bridge, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, and countless others, now through the end of September 2019. Fans attending New York’s Tribeca TV Festival on September 13 to see series executive producers David Crane, Marta Kauffman and Kevin Bright discuss the landmark comedy series should also keep a lookout for their Insta-worthy sofa moment.
