Guardians of the Galaxy Review: No Spoilers – Best Marvel Release Yet

Guardians of the Galaxy Review: Best Marvel Release Yet - no spoilers- spoiler free(PCM) Guardians of the Galaxy is the most advertised Marvel movie to date. It’s the strongest effort produced by Marvel studious yet. Guardian’s is more of a science fiction romp than a superhero flick, scoring a five out of five. More than just a film worth seeing, it’s worth owning in your media library with strong replay value.

Directed by James Gunn, Guardians of the Galaxy is quirky, hilarious at times, balanced in action, character oriented, with a sensational blend of Marvel personalities that do not come off as Star Wars cantina oddballs.

Voiced by Bradley Cooper Characters such as Rocket Raccoon will keep you in stitches and at no time do you hear Bradley in the character. Without knowing he is the voice, you could never pick him out. On the trivia front, Bradley cites Rocket’s voice based on Joe Pesci’s character Tommy DeVito in 1990′s Goodfellas.

Laryngitis Forces Stan Lee To Cancel SDCC Appearance & More News

(PCM) A case of laryngitis has forced Stan Lee from his planned appearance and autograph sessions at SDCC 2014, according to our friends at the Hollywood Reporter. Fans can still expect to see a ‘Stan The Man’ cameo in next week’s Guardians of the Galaxy, although he had nothing to do with the creation of that particular Marvel franchise.We visited a Legends panel with cast members Ali Larter (Heroes), Morris Chestnut (American Horror Story, Nurse Jackie) and Tina Majorino (Grey’s Anatomy, True Blood), and executive producers Howard Gordon (Homeland, 24) and David Wilcox (Fringe). (more that conversation next week!) TNT is encouraging fans of actor Sean Bean to use the hashtag #DontKillSeanBean in social media postings about the show. (more that conversation next week!) The hashtag plays on the fact that Bean has died in more than 20 acting roles, including the two characters for which he is widely known: Boromir in The Lord of the Rings trilogy and Eddard “Ned” Stark in the series Game of Thrones. Guardians_of_the_Galaxy_46(PCM) Marvel Studios debuted a new featurette for Guardians of the Galaxy yesterday in promotion of the film’s release for August 1st.

The new featurette explores the peculiar relationship between Gamora and Nebula, watch it below!

Guardians_of_the_Galaxy_46(PCM) How well do you know your Guardians of the Galaxy trivia? Better than a 5 year-old? 

The cast of Guardians of the Galaxy was schooled last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live by Marvel comics expert 5 year-old Mia Grace as she beat them all to the buzzer question after question.

Jimmy Kimmel invited Mia Grace to a trivia-off against the cast, including Chris Pratt who plays Star Lord Peter Quill, Zoe Saldana who plays Gamora, Dave Bautista who plays Drax, Bradley Cooper who plays the voice of Rocket, and Vin Diesel who plays the voice of Groot.

Mia handed it to the cast pretty bad and didn’t seem to really face much competition, but who really wants to be beat a 5 year-old on national television?
